Is this the same as the military M17?
The core fire control unit and operating system are identical. The commercial P320 Full-Size typically has a manual safety and may have slight cosmetic differences, but the reliability and performance are the same.
What generation of grip module does it use?
This ships with the current generation grip module. Our staff notes that if you use aftermarket Gen4 frames, the fit can be slightly tighter than with Gen5 frames. This is not a functional issue, just a noticeable detail during assembly.
Is it ready for a red dot sight out of the box?
